  Olukemi Amodu Profile

 

 

Research Focus:

Dr. Amodu was awarded her Ph.D. degree in 2002. Following her Ph.D. study, she received a grant from Ellison Medical Foundation (2003) for post-doctoral training in genetics and molecular biology at Harvard University, MA, USA.  One of Dr Amodu’s goals is to create a centre of technological innovation and excellence in the development and application of Molecular Biology and Genetics in malaria at the Institute of Child Health University of Ibadan, where she is currently employed as a Research Fellow.  Her main research interests are in the host and parasite genetic variability in malaria pathogenesis
